I'm resigned to it.
It's modern soccerball, it isn't local anymore, we've got fans all over the world. I used to walk to the Bridge when I was a kid, now I'm parked on a couch a continent (or three) away like all the other plastics the world over.
They don't give a fuck what the fans think, it's all about the Benjamins. Might as well try to enjoy it cuz you're stuck with it, that's soccerball!
