I saw this on eBay - it's actually a 2023 Wilier Superleggera SL with fantastically nice Cromovelato.

I've just notice that this ^ appears to be an aheadset fork, with a quill stem fitted, how's that achieved ? I'm currently using a VO ahead stem on one of mine, but it just doesn't look right to my traditionalist eyes.

I'm pretty sure that's just a threaded headset with a few spacers.

Thank you!
I am in London and I may well take you up on this offer when I am nearer to doing the build - very kind offer.
I saw the groupset last night - on a bike that lives outside and it’s looking very tired. I’ll need to dismantle / polish / replace rusted bolts etc. And it’s completely dead so I’m hoping the battery just needs charging and the cell(s) isn’t knackered.

Absolutely love this. Considered a c2w purchase on this frameset before.

You can get an NOS frameset for half that!

Seems like the right place to ask - I’ve got a Campagnolo c record chainset and am looking for some 135bcd 11 speed silver chainrings to go on them… do TA or anyone make such a thing?

I think there are several issues with that idea. But if you have the knowledge, please share.

I dont know if the material of your steerer is thick enough?

I could go to the 'how much is this worth page', but I guess the only realistic buyers are on this thread, so any guidance appreciated.
Please let me know what I should ask for these or send me a pm if you would like them

Set up as tubeless with Hutchinson Storm Fusion 25c tyres - some, but light, use. I only rode them in the summer and the original bike is long gone. I have had no punctures and have refreshed the sealant today.

I approve that stem choice

I was just about to say I like it a lot except for the stem...
Nitto or Cinelli stems look so much better imo -

These are lovely wheels - I’d say a few hundred quid is very reasonable.

I just love a removable face plate and it was long and cheapish.

I got a cheap Bora One for the rear, I think because these delaminate easily with heat on the fronts (judging by looking at eBay for months). Not sure what to put on the front now... Or it could just be ruined by carbon wheels (if the pedals don't already).

That frame set is a beaut' ! Love the colors
Hi,
The battery is in the seatpost, and the power cables route past the bottom bracket, using the Campag cradle insert thingummy (this is needed to stop the cables tangling in the BB).
The shift cables come down the downtube and along the chain stay, mainly attached with clear heavy duty helicopter tape.
The control unit thingy is hanging down off the bars, in front of the head tube. This is the bit of the system that is less than ideal. If I didn't have such an odd stem then it could probably have been strapped or Sugru'ed to it.
If you are in London and fancy popping over to have a look at it, I am sure we could arrange something?
