FFP1, FFP2, and FFP3 have different levels of protection depending on the level of protection the wearer requires. In a nutshell, the higher the level of the FFP respirator, the higher the protection against these airborne irritants, with FFP3 having the highest level of protection. No respirator can achieve 100% efficiency due to potential leakage around the face seal, valve (if present), and through filter penetration.
