By all accounts, the new internet ordering system makes it a bit easier to pick up a couple of crates than the old 'phone up and get the engaged tone' system. Strictly speaking, it's not meant to be resold, though.
E2a: bar looks good. Would happily spend a few hours working through the list/fridge.

Belgian residents can also get home delivery now, which further strains the 'no resale' thing.
Nothing beats the anxiety of driving all the way to Vleteren, hoping you haven't mucked up the whole telephone ordering process and are about to get turned away empty handed.

Heh. I could never get through so had to make do with scoring six packs from the surly staff at In de Vrede's gift shop.

The lay brothers at the monastery were perfectly pleasant...as long as you followed the rules. The car in front of us wasn't registered right, so: 'geen bier'. The bloke was absolutely furious but no charity from the monks!

Might be worth checking out if you’re local. A company I’m friendly with - Beyond Belief Brewing - will have their pasta beers on tap.

Was missing Belgian beers, so ordered a few up from Beautiful Beers (not used before)
Swift delivery and I am ready for the weekend!Duchesse de Bourgogne was a favourite in Bruges, so ordered big and little bottles.
It's not a lambic but has the vinegar-y fizziness I've just had from a lambic.
I loved it, will be baking a camembert and drinking a couple of these tomorrow

After a day cutting a beech hedge back, some TdF armchair ds'ing, and then a big shift at my allotment I treated myself to this.
It is great.

He's a beer Ticker. Those guys are next level.
Also, I DO drink to get drunk, so it makes it quite a bit harder to reach those kind of numbers :)

Just had a look at untapped and I'm just over 6000 unique beers, though the number in reality would be quite a bit higher. I've become pretty lazy about checking them in.

I drink a lot less these days. You have to be conscious of drinking too much....I average out at fewer than four pints a day.
Just the recommended daily allowance 😂

Anyone done the Blackhorse beer mile in/near Walthamstow?
You're not wrong, they brought it all back direct from the source. Might have been some begging and bowing and secret handshakes involved
