After months and months of thinking, I went for the more rationale approach buying a cheap naturehike quilt for a 2-weeks wandering in north-east Italy in August.
With my level of cycling, miles done this year etc etc I can't really justifiy spenny quilts.
Although, I hope I am not going to die cold up there lol
