do all the ferries!! there are more near Colchester - Brightlingsea and Wivenhoe. You could round it off with the Woolwich foot ferry if you felt like it.

Shame that the Tilbury - Gravesend one has shut.

Both the Felixstowe ones are good fun. The one to Harwich lands on the shingle

Oh no has the Tilbury one shut? Fond memories of getting that at 7am on the London Orbital audax once.

I may add more ferries to this route... though my return leg needs some pretty careful scheduling

Yes, I'm afraid so. It shut a couple of months ago. A bit of a nightmare if you lived in either Gravesend or Tilbury and needed to use it for work.

I used to dream about a ride with all the ferries, but kids, life, broken ankle etc etc meant that it is still just a dream
