11spd or 10spd?

Can always use 9 speed shimano mtb mechs with 10 speed shimano road shifters for a larger range etc

Does 9s mtb mech will work with recent mtb triggers ? Like deore m6000 triggers

Nope, only old 10 speed road shifters / bar end shifters etc

Bar end shifters can be turned to thumbies and still work fine :)
