Other than possibly tomatoes (!) I really can't imagine what I might use a Victorinox tomato knife for.

What am I missing?

With a small child I'm chopping lots of fruit, veg, meat into bite size portions. Tomato knife means I can chop straight on the plate with no concern about what it's doing to the blade.

Also a mini bread knife for bagels, rolls, malt loaf, etc
