Other than possibly tomatoes (!) I really can't imagine what I might use a Victorinox tomato knife for.

What am I missing?

I'm not a fan (said without having one) but have the more stabby opinel one, I see the greater length and curve would be an advantage, but anything done is with the left hand compensation
