Just had this conversation with a pink haired lady making my coffee. Her point was that she’s worried this election might spell the beginning of end of the Labour Party, if they 1) receive a massive mandate and are unable to deliver, decreasing support for them in the future, or 2) move further right from their current centre-barely-left to keep their new base, changing them into Conservatives 2.0.

Not sure if Starmer's Labour will be much less shit than Tory governments between WWII and Thatcher? He seems to be basically a non-rabid Tory, like bloody Albo over here.
