If they only did this I think it would be better, but obviously the video will eventually be covered with banners or something.

So just watch YouTube through Brave, a privacy-focused Chrome fork which natively blocks ads. You just need to disable the YouTube app if on a mobile device.

Not loving their new floating ads now, after you've skipped the full screen ads. Cant remove, stays there for 30 seconds.
Plus I don't want to play Netball.
