Extremely long shot but does anyone have a Glastonbury ticket for sale?

Got a ticket off a mate of a mate - looks nothing like me (at all). Anyone working wristbanding? Not sure whether to try blag it going through or go to the ticketing cabin and explain this is a legit ticket but my friend can no longer go

Blag it! And if you don't succeed then make sure you're mate is available on the phone the same time as you're entering so you can video call him when you have to speak to security.

Was listening (not watching) to the Queens of the Stone Age set on iplayer at work, were they on main stage? Sounded pretty good to my ears.

Quite surprised he's still getting bookings after all the spousal abuse.

Did enjoy Blossoms and Rick Astley's Smiths covers set.

Nope, they were on the ‘Other’ stage but that’s the second largest stage and it’s still massive

It was unreal. He had some weekend as did Dave Grohl

Took me 4 hours to get in, many miles walking round the site in Pilton looking sketchy and 2 attempts Thursday evening with a friend’s ticket who looks nothing like me. Was so surprised it worked. Amazing weekend

Last time I went was 2011, half of it's the same!

I know we're ignoring Glasto this year, but I want to share this review of the cosy Jungle set which was on telly last night. "It’s a little odd when Jungle come on stage, because they open into a song that’s a true summer anthem, a beach and sun vibe… but it’s dark. This was a song made for open top drives and walking by the sea, and that’s no slight on them, it’s a beautiful tune. Luckily as they glide through their next songs the vibe adjusts to partying in the dark. Smooth. Everything is smooth, like someone’s made disco hits modern. That said, there’s still a little bit of grit, something you can get a hold of and really engage with. It’s at this point we wonder whether the light show should have come with a strobe warning, but it helps make this a perfect vibe. We hesitate to say it, but this set would not work in the rain… but thank Cthulhu, it is not raining and everything is perfect for us to slip into something comfortable. Most of Jungle’s vocals are like a choir of angels serenading you. Let us be honest for a moment: it’s very difficult to listen to Jungle with a view to writing about it, as the tones and the feel just drift you off into fantastical and glorious mental spaces where you don’t have much contact with reality. It’s very hard to analyse Jungle, you must vibe, and let’s be honest again, music isn’t for study but a deep in the synapse experience and Jungle are masters at it. When they sing you’ll be miles away, well, we all are. In this election year, when Britain is faced with a bad choice and an awful choice, the water is polluted and milk costs five quid a bottle it is quite remarkable this UK duo can come up with something so open and comforting and glorious. Maybe still better on a beach, which they must agree with as we were all pounding beach balls back and forth at the end. Not sure where they came from. After a hypnotic and dreamy encore, we head into the night for further adventures."

LCD Soundsystem for me.

Jungle a great. So are Idles. But LCD just killed it.

I’m no Keane fanboy, I wouldn’t say I listen to them at any other time other than when they’re playing on the radio and enjoy their songs. But, wow, I’ve got to say their lead singer was bang on every note in their set earlier. That takes some doing at a huge venue.

Fuck me, Cindy Lauper is dreadful live.

Honestly think the big one in a lifetime headliners than Glastonbury use to get year in year out are done.

Coldplay, can't listen to that insufferable prick now and Dua Lipa although she's got mega plays is she really a festival headliner or is that where music is at now.

Oh for a prince headliner . Lipa was dia and just as well she didnt murder a song with elton last year.
