Seems cool, maybe a bit overengineered. I've seen a few false bottom bags from Rab on ebay, 150g ish fill weight, was kinda curious about them.

Actually been using it this week cowboy camping and it's been idea. It's low double digits at night here and it's super.
I still might put a zip in but actually I don't think I need to as I doubt I'll sleep outside in temps warmer than they are now.
I haven't used the straps that connect it too the Matt, they're not needed and I'll cut them off when I get home to loose weight.

I got one of these new Rab bags. It's obviously nice but the design is funky, it doesn't open fully so it's not a quilt so it's narrow temp use. Incredibly light though and so small pack. Will be awesome for the high Pyrenees hike I plan this summer.
I need to work out how to make it openable though.
