plenty of other people around that struggle with their weight
Their health suffers so much that we should just feel sorry for them. They're shortening their lives, and deep down they know it. Scorn is superfluous. You can feel scorn, but it's a bit cruel to give voice to it.

Lots of people suffer for reasons beyond their control, whether that's hormone issues, disability, no access to healthy food or dietary advice or the fact it's often cheaper to eat crap than healthy stuff or no education around the issues. You've then got how it's related to unobtainable beauty standards (probably not so much in this case), Jameela Jamil posts a lot about this kind of related issues where she suffered with anorexia in the past and photos of her at her healthiest are the ones people have called her obese.

Also you've got societies where huge women are preferred by most men, e.g. Nigeria. More and more white British men are expressing the same preference. No doubt there are psychosexual explanations. My sister IMHO has a disastrous figure, but some men are like a dog with two dicks when they see her from afar.

Do you think people get assaulted, kidnapped, raped because they've failed to outrun their attacker? When should we start running? Have you never seen an obese person run or use strength?
I tend to stay out of these conversations but this is fucking stupid. -

Plus in every single horror film ever, the victim runs away from their attacker, who walks after them and the attacker always, always catches up somehow.

“ I would imagine that his weight is down to either lifestyle choices or mental health issues.”
He could just be thick as mince?

And don’t forget sexual predator Pepe le Pew… (which I genuinely find disturbing in a kids cartoon)
The case details released and charges are seriously frightening. I'm glad he's in court.

Stephen Yaxley-Lennon arrested on immigration charges in Canada LOL

At least there's no danger he'll be taking anyone's job.

Surely he’s on some sort of no fly list

Brilliant!

Didn't he already get convicted and serve jail time in the US for entering the country on someone else's passport? How is allowed to travel anywhere?
-

2012/13 - he was already banned from entry into the US because of his criminal record, so tried to enter using his mate's passport. Immigration smelled a rat and asked to remain in JFK airport for an interview with immigration officers and he scarpered.

Its ok though, because he didn't arrive on a lilo.

I would be very at ease not discouraging him to cross the Atlantic on a lilo...

WEF, World Economic Forum, has got the future covered:
I don't see how some of these reduce the price of parsnips, but I'm certain the Technocrats have our best interests at heart.

All the increased computing which uses massive amounts of energy.
Cooling solutions that are really just ways of generating and transporting heat?We need to lower global temps by reducing energy usage and using passive solutions to providing "cooler" environments
