• I’ve been doing pretty well.
    Started the year on 73kg aimed to get down to 68kg (something I hadn’t done in 10 years) got down to 67kg end of feb.

    I’ve got pretty severe tendinitis so I can’t just run all the time so managing my diet is the big lever.

    I ploughed on down to 65kg (climbing on the bike was noticeably easier) I had a blip in the last month…got ill, got really hungry, ate lots.

    And so with some effort back down to 66kg. Now 68kg has gone from being the target to being the absolute ceiling weight I want to be.

    The diet has been just trying to eat a really broad range of stuff (admittedly vegetables), so big and varied salads. I’m still drinking beers every now and again and eating cornettos.

    In top of weights (mild) running and cycling, I’m trying to keep my kids off the computers, so a lot of general horseplay, skateboarding, climbing about, park shenanigans…general primate behaviour
