Retro mountain bikes

It is a seriously good looking bike. A bit out of my price range though.

Spotted this one today at the Hero Südtirol mountainbike marathon.

Yep original paint. It's pretty good but does look better in pictures. Theres still a fair bit of "patina" to it

Such a refined bike and - great build too - perfection

Don't have a picture of it but at the Specialized promotion stand they had the 1992 M2 that was ridden by Ned Overend (complete with Sugino disc wheel, Suntour groupset and those fugly bars from Profile). Seemed the man himself was there too and even participated in the race!

That bike was unremarkable compared to some and therefore easily forgotten

92' (I think) Stumpjumper.
Think it has original tyres as well

This looks lovely. Always had a soft spot for this era of Bonty and this has all the right bits on it!

Took this one from the attic today for a spin around town. Wish it were a n inch larger so could really use it. Can't part from it either as it's one of those rare nineties bikes that hardly pop up for sale.

I had those grey Ground Control tires and matching grips.
The tires wear very quickly but looked super nice on my Ti Bolt.
