  • I dunno, it looks B I G.
It feels a little bit like hardwork on some of the feersum gradients around here.

  • But small wheels though?

  • Yeah.
It's not the bike to get out of the saddle on (for me) and I live on one side of the ridge and my office is the other.
I dunno whether going to a smaller ring and wider cassette is going to bring me much benefit.

  • Hmm it may be a 48? Im going to swap mine down to a 42

  • Annoyingly I’ve binned a pair of sora cranks that I could have reused on this.

  • Added some graphics to fit with the bike :)

@Thrasher sent a reply to your message, not sure if you’ve seen it!

  • where did you get it from?

  • what’s the longest ride you reckon could be done with an oreba katsu…

  • With or without a battery?

  • with…

I can barely make it 100yds with motor off - ride feels so dead

  • Planning our first family touring experiment with our 3yo daughter. ( a short 2day trip to start) Opting out of taking the cargo bikes so my wife has calimed the katu as hers. refit the bike and some smaller and pinker tires "bikes are supposed to be fun right" - my better half.

  • comically large rotors installed

  • Oh yes! 🙌🏽

  • very good

  • Loving this! I've got a Hamax seat on the back- quite tricky to get the position nice and low without getting into heel strike issues. In the end I've flipped the bracket round to be on the back of the seat tube to gain vital cm's.

I reckon this rack would fit great- height adjustable and plenty of adjustment for the high stay mounts:

  • Does anyone else find that the stock position for the front light ain’t great- it’s tucked away underneath the basket.

Pondering extending the cable and mounting it on the front of the basket, but I wonder if a static light will be rubbish as opposed to one that turns with the steering 🤔

  • FYI there’s a cheap non electric Katu on eBay atm for anyone looking.

  • need some of those 20” tanwall schwalbe g-one allrounds they’ve specced on the new brompton G-line
