I haven't done that route but I've ridden around Whitby a bit. Hilly as fuuuck. Accidentally hit some 33% roads. Absolutely stunning though.

Not had much time for riding I'm afraid. Did a short loop but I need to replace the saddle before any other riding. The Fabric is kicking my ass

Quick question to all.
What gravel bike at the cheaper end of the spectrum can take a 45-50mm tyre?
I know the Sonder will but what others can. Boardmans look tight as does the Limba.

I'm waiting for them to roll out some kind of open world gravel sim, sort of like that GTAV bike world thing but purpose built with places to explore etc. Will be able to sell all the bikes, cycle year round, save a bunch of money on maintenance, no longer need 4 different types of jacket etc.

As long as I can hang out at a virtual brewery mid-ride and drink a virtual alcohol free beer in my virtual gravel specific plaid shirt.

I've not ridden the route but agree with @ltc that is super hilly around there, particularly north of Scarborough. Hills are generally steep in the North York Moors & pretty much all of the valleys run north/south, so when the route goes sideways, beware! Top riding nonetheless.
