Very nice

certainly makes for a tidy looking bicycle. 10/10 would ride.

Had some trouble getting the Colnago rideable. The axle on the rear hub is dangerously short, I think it was a Tune custom built hub for MTB dropped it at a wheelbuilder I heard of through Strislands instagram, hopefully he’ll find a way. I didn’t like the look of the surly bars but had some Renthal jumpbars knocking around. Frames a bit small and having a right pain with the shifter/ derailleur can only get 5 gears unfortunately.

Does anyone know of any stems that have a 25-27mm stack height? I'm in the process of cobbling together bits and pieces for this bargain Planet X London Road Ti frame, and the steerer on these forks is too small for anything remotely resembling a normal stem.
I think I know what I need to do and probably just delaying the inevitable...

Prime doyenne stem if you can find is pretty low and what I went with. Not sure how low mind.

Syntace FlatForce is the rescue stem for steerer cut too short, but it's one very low position

Thanks all. Time to take up yoga

I've recently used a Velobike stem extender on and worked well. Probably similar priced to a fancy short stack stem and also solves the low stack height issue.

Looks like a 1st gen Cinelli Gazzetta.
Fork, seat tube cluster and dropouts are identical

Aye? We looking at the same bike?

The only real difference is in the fork's bend, but other than that i struggle to find anything else!
-
• #132244
The seat tube cluster is completely different.

Thanks, Yeah I’m pleased.

How did you get on with this setup? Just bastardising my Arkose at the moment and I forgot I needed to address the rear derailleur issue. Tried to just fit the 11-42t cassette without upgrading the derailleur and realised what an idiot I am.
The chart says the Ultegra RX can't handle 11-42 on a double off the shelf, did you do anything else?
-
• #132248
Yeah on a second look it's quite different. My bad!
-
• #132249
yep, seems to work well.
the only issue I have is that the chain is probably a link too short to go into the 50/42 so I just have to be mindful of cross chaining.
I think the shifting is better without using the clutch as well. -

Thanks! I'm on 48/32 on the front so that 2t drop might give me a little more wiggle room
nice bike pile!
always lusted after a kirk - amp research forks as well?!
