Bowen is decent, but Jack (when not playing Pep-ball) has the extra 'moment of magic' in him. Thought he did well against Bosnia.

Great! I mean it’s a stupid football decision but better for us. We kept more clean sheets than any team bar Arsenal last year. Pickford and our centre half pairing were the main reasons.

Saka, Gordon, Bellingham, Foden, Palmer al provide the magic. Someone needs to do the work if needed.

Bowen offers more. Not saying he is better per se but I can see the reasoning, he can be asked to 90% of jobs on a pitch and carry it out well.
For example, Spain hit form and Rodri is pulling strings. I’d play Bowen to nip his ankles for 60 minutes and allow englands good players to play.
I genuinely think Braithwaite might be the big break out player at this euros if he’s given the chance.
