Fair enough. Just seems a bit squid games. I think I'd rather not be singled out as the first/second/third person cut, letting everyone go at once seems more usual. Maybe as he narrowed down his training games/set-piece systems etc it would get so obvious to those not selected that the concern was their disappointment and continued focus/application - and once they've been let go you can't contain the news so have to announce it.

Huh, no mention of Jones cut on the BBC. No issue with either decision, just seems strange to release the names piecemeal. Why not just announce everyone at once?
