I think my main problem with corbyn is that he ISN'T a pacifist.
Sure, when it comes to western aggression, he's a hard line pacifist. His language is clear and his anger obvious. His position is moral and absolute and very very clear. Nothing wrong with that, it's perfectly legitimate and I admire it.
But when it comes to aggression directed against the west - from Russia, or China, or Isis, or Al Quaeda, or Iran, or the IRA, or Hamas - suddenly his language changes. It becomes slippery. He'll never come out and say 'these people are justified in their violence', but he'll stay as far away from condemning it as he possibly can. He'll even co sign people going further; while he was head of Stop The War they posted one story advocating for war against iSrael as the only route to peace in the middle east, and another blaming the Paris machete attacks on the French (or more accurately, their foreign policy).
Even here when he clearly came out against 'pouring arms into Ukraine', as a western politican representing the west who are the only ones pouring arms into Ukraine, he still leaves enough room for people to say 'oh he didn't mean that'. He comes across like a mob lawyer, excusing and minimising and sticking only to the most general condemnation of violence, never specifics. It's slippery.
The distinction between the two situations is very very clear once you notice it.

Quite the principles man.
But again it sounds like he just wants to hold a protest opposition position. I want power and minor change over no power and no change.
