Pretty sure i did. I stand by it; undoubtedly impressive from Emery but Villa have spent big (7th biggest net spend in past 5 years) so it's not an underdog story and it's an improvement of 3 places year on year. Laudable, and great for supporters, but not sure it should be considered for MotY. Also not a big points total, wouldn't have made 4th last couple years.

re @aggi saying 7th to 4th isn't that tough - only 11 clubs have qualified for the 100 English Champions league places so far. Not easy to break into.
Blackburn, Everton, Leicester once, Leeds twice, Newcastle 3 times, Spurs 5 and then the usual suspects loads each.
