Summer Pavoni tip: I made a variation of Hoffmann's shakerato recipe today that was incredible.
- Big ice cube in a clean jam jar.
- Add 8g of dark agave syrup, dash of orange bitters and a couple of flakes of sea salt.
- Grind 19g of fruity light roast (Climpson's Montañuela for me today).
- Get the GH to around 88°c
- Put a glass with another big ice cube in it under the GH (or the jam jar if it'll fit). 6. Pre-infuse for 1min with enough pressure that you get a few drips onto the ice cube.
- Pull a 36-40g shot onto the big ice cube.
- Add the shot to the jar, swirl, then
shake vigorously for around 30 seconds. 8. Strain into clean glass /cup.
- Big ice cube in a clean jam jar.

My partner does some leisure pottery, and they made me a couple of these lovely double espresso mugs, inspired by old Japanese tea cups we used to have. (Not dented, just the glaze!)
Lovely with a splash of oatmilk in.

Anyone want a Dualit CCG2 grinder? Clearing out the attic and found my old one. Cleaned up ok and burrs look good having run some puly caff through. Can't say i really taste the difference compared to my newer Wilfa Svart.
Biggest downside is the grounds collector got a bit melted on the front from a hot oven tray. Still works fine (didn't melt through).
£20 posted or £15 collected from KT2

The search for a precision brewer carafe is proving fruitless

Got all excited to try, then realised it’s not on at the moment :’(
Got a bag of each available on the way all the same. Excited about the Hermosa Premium and Monte Cristo in particular. -

I have a P2, used once I would do for £30 + postage (or collect from Catford)

• #26488
Appreciate the offer but no longer in blighty. Would have taken you up on the offer otherwise.

I'll take it (based in Catford too) for the office

Lol, I bought my ex a P0 as I took the grinder with me and felt bad she didn’t have one.
I couldn’t find a conclusive review at the time but thought it looked good and worth a punt for £23 - and was really impressed - but I guess the word is out now! -

Interesting the comments on boulders.
My budget boy, 1zpresso Q Air creates quite a few boulders but is relatively low on fines. I thought this was great, it means only a minor adjust when swapping from regular to decaf beans to avoid huge stalls on v60. ZP6 also hailed as super low fines. Maybe it's just a comparative with the Hario?

knock Feld 47
+1 it's really nice to use. Interestingly I've had to change the settings from the Aregrind and I was under the impression they would be the same.
Used 1.3 on Aergrind, but on 1.8 on Feld.

I watched some reviews on YouTube. Seems consensus is this device is nigh on useless for coffee but OK for tea. But tea caddies have existed for years. Meh. I'll stick to my Aeropress despite bigger pack size

Can I interest anyone in a free/forum donation used Porlex Mini? Collection from Catford or Warren Street if possible
-
• #26497
Yes please but I would need it posted and I can see that you'd prefer collection. If you change your mind, I'll obviously cover the cost of postage.

If anyone else has a P2 grinder they no longer use then let me know, looking for something to take camping

If anyone is interested in a sage pro grinder please let me know, otherwise I’ll just list it on eBay.

Possibly. Will DM.
I don't have a Sage Precision Brewer or a Clever Dripper but I see Sage still have that deal where you can get up to 200 quid back on a purchase if you sign up to their beanz subscription thing.
