Generally no mixing, unless you can be sure the main compounds are the same. Some are latex based etc.

Dynaplug refills seem little hard to come by.
Are they a PITA to get back?
I’ve a racer and a pill that I picked up cheaply. -

there's been a bit of a shortage in the UK, but I think most shops are expecting some soon

I can finally see the benefits of tubeless. The tyre looks like this all over.

Just ride on the sides.

Set up tubless, with inserts, and ride at 10psi till the sides are worn as well

I am happy to get to wear out a tyre again instead of getting a massive cut in the sidewall or some other stupid defect.

Found in Girona today. Shop guy said only 45 sets of these were allocated to the whole of Spain and they bought like half of them.

What's the forum approved wide slick these days, looking for something in the 38-45mm 700c flavour?
I'm replacing GK+ because I'm sick of getting my bike out only find it has no air in the tyres, and then having to fix a puncture from the mildest bit of gravel.

Thank fuck for inserts
Just before taking my mtb out this week noticed the tyres were a little low in pressure so pumped them up. Went to local trail centre and started riding. Bike had just had a suspension service and am tinkering with suspension setup so was expecting things to feel a little unusual.
At the skills area one of the coaches I know was training someone. He pointed out that when I was riding the drops line my front tyre was lacking air. Thankfully the cushcore insert had handled this fine, I had a sachet of sealant in my pack, so squeezed some sealant in, reinflated the tyre and it’s all good. There were no obvious sealant leaks so it was clear just the sealant had completely dried up and the tyre had become a little porous. Am sure if I didn’t have the inserts the tyre would have been torn through.

I'm a big fan of Vittoria terreno dry, but they also do a zero for even less tread, same compound and casing though.

I really like Terravail Ramparts. Have them in 32mm and 38mm flavours on each of my bikes. They're basically like a better version of the GKs. Grippy, quick and comfy. I've not had any punctures after about a year of using them. Having said that, I don't get punctures very often at all. I think I only had 1 puncture on a set of Gravelkings before I wore them out.

i also have had good experiences with Ramparts - i did slice a light&supple one, but i was really pushing my luck on that trail. usually I just used them for audax, absolutely perfect
Mixing sealant brands....? Probably fine? Or Avoid? Had my 1st tubeless puncture today that I could fix with a worm, but lost a tonne of goo in the process.
