Yeah it runs fantastic! And this is compared to 11 speed and 12-speed AXS too.
The bike was born with this groupset, and even has the cannondale-green on the levers and RD. I won’t change the groupset, but was looking into maybe swapping the cranks for some SI’s and hunting down a matching Thomson x2 stem. But those are details! As it stands now it works amazing

I won’t be needing those, so go ahead :)

I know where that is ;-)
Nice bike!!! Love the silhouette of that generation of Cannondales

Couple changes to the Saeco, nabbed a set of HED Belgium rims laced to Chris King hubs in place of 58mm Reynolds. Also a sneaky Schmolke seatpost...

Nice !

Stem looks out of place now :)

Don't start, I'm already spending too long looking at Schmolke stems. I want to be pretty sure of my position before I commit to one of them !

My himod frame arrived. I’d snagged an eps groupset for it… first issue was not being able to get the eps cable through the rear mech hole though I resolved that but now met with the hilarious face that the battery is way too long to fit in the battery void beneath the BB. So I’m guessing that’ll be why it’s impossible to find any builds online with this frame and eps.
Wondering now if I go sram red (which is soon to be replaced by red d2) or go for the latest incarnation of ultegra/duraace. Prefer sram’s slightly more exotic nature than Shimano but open to thoughts/suggestions
TLDR: Campagnolo sucks nowadays

I'm sure you can find a way to mount it in the seatpost or if it's too thin, at least in the seat tube wrapped in something squishy. Stick with what you've got I reckon.

very cool!
would love to see EPS on it so good luck! -

Seat tube and seat post are way too thin to put any battery in it.
Only way I see is to put the battery in the down tube against the bb passing it threw the head tube

If you want to be able to actually change gear I would avoid SRAM at all costs.
Campagnolo should be avoided because campagnolo. -

There’s no way eps is going to work as the battery won’t fit it any hole no matter what wangling takes place.

Seems to work ok for Jonas et al

There is a reason Visma ride 1x set ups whenever possible.

You'll be pleased to know I just bought 12 speed ultegra after trying a mate's for a little bit this evening. I was so impressed I might even get another set to replace the Force D2 on my winter bike

👌
Hidden buttons on the top of 12 speed shifters are good when climbing in the hoods once you get used to using them, and a lot easier to set up how you want with built in bluetooth. I have them both set up for rear shifting, right for up left for down.I put R8070 11 speed Di2 on my wet weather evo3. Battery lasts a lot longer, shifts just as well, and parts are much cheaper.

I reckon you need at least one more - one for each day of the week!
Some impressive builds there. Have you thought about adding a gravel bike to the stable?
I'd like this if matti doesnt? dm me
