Anyone tried the Wush-Wush from Lucid?

If anyones looking to try a smaller roaster, these are worth a go :
They've moved on from the coffee I have had that was really nice, but the Decaff El Carmen is really nice. Not the cheapest at £10 per 250g though.

Yes, is very nice of you like the fruity end of the spectrum.

Scored one of those Lidl digital kettles. Will report back

Nice. I'm definitely happy with it. Hopefully it has some legs, but certainly for £25 I can't complain about the features

Quiet and quick boil, doesn’t keep on boiling/steaming when it hits temp, handy water top up without removing lid.
Genuinely really impressed for £25. Glad I made the trip.
Also, 4x glass insulated double wall espresso cups for £8. -

3 year warranty so receipt and box are on top of the cupboard just in case!

Going to be selling my Aeropress Go (all bits included), a load of papers (about 400), a metal disc, and a Knock Aergrind (latest version) which fits inside the aeropress if anyone's interested?
All in good condition, the grinder particularly. (Moving to their Feld grinder due to capacity).
Will get some photos when I can.
Thinking maybe £100 for the lot.

What a lovely bundle for someone!

How long did it take for you to receive yours after you had a tracking number? It's been 17 days since ordering and 8 days of Evri's tracking saying, "We're expecting it."
When they charge you £40 for shipping, you might hope for slightly quicker movement...

Are we talking df64? I’ll be placing an order soon. A shame to know postage is slow. Did you order a ‘sale batch’ one at £290 or full price? Was trying to figure out how @alex_s got the price he was quoting but it looks like sale batch pricing fluctuates a lot. Sadly though if I order a June sale batch, it may be July before I get it.

It was a DF54 from DF64coffee.com. It was £189 for the grinder and £41 for postage, but they seem to keep changing the prices. The product page has said "In Stock" for more than a week but mine still hasn't shipped.

What a lovely bundle for someone!
Yeah did me well for a while! So compact for travel too and a great combo for tasty coffee.
I really missed my Robot though, so I bought another one after a bit of work overtime came available, so pleased I did.
Anyhoo I use a folding dripper for travel now and robot at home with the Feld47 so this lots going spare.

I bought a used Linea mini for portable business things, I’m quite excited about it. I’ve brought it home to see if I can get over my home espresso antipathy during the next couple of weeks. I’ve got dialled in really quickly - the Eureka Libra is brilliant, the coffee and setup is proper pro level but so is the cleaning burden so we’ll see. I’ve got a feeling the Technivorm will be back in its spot after next weekend.

Are there any recommendations for a small, independent milk steamer? Just a small one for one or two cups at a time?

@Stevethecoffee why does the Royal Mail hate your parcel? Luckily the bag was still completely fine.

Looks great. What’s the cleaning burden?

Ah ffs. Glad it’s ok!

Soaking the portafilter and basket, backflushing, scrubbing the bayonet, cleaning the drip tray, cleaning the bodywork, cleaning the knock box, cleaning the counter….. PITA all of it.
It’s already unplugged ready to go on the shelf at the roasting unit. The Technivorm is all set up ready to deliver effort-free stimulant as soon as I stumble bleary eyed down the stairs in the morning, enjoyed in my grey towelling housecoat, a quadragenarian testicle visible from the straight-ahead.

I'm struggling a bit with James Gourmet Coffee. I really like them as a company, but I've yet to have a coffee of theirs that isn't heavily on the "nutty" side. This is in contrast to Yellow Bourbon who seem to produce loads of coffees that have real freshness and zing to them.
Does anyone have recommendations for specific coffees from JGC that have had a bit more life to them (I'm using a V60 FWIW)?

Just jumping in in case this elicits a tribal response - I’m really glad you’re enjoying the coffee, thanks!
I’m a big fan of JGC, I’ve met Peter James once or twice. They’ve been in the speciality coffee business since long before it really took off, they’re probably just not into the light and bright and have always done well with balanced smooth coffees, I think it’s just their thing. It’s my preference too tbh but I do enjoy the juicy ones on occasion and wouldn’t be without them in the range.
Is anyone after a small milk pitcher? Free if you can collect from SE8, could maybe be persuaded to post it if you donate a few £ to the forum.
