I’m doing something wrong with my Weber, it keeps getting cold very quickly
Use chimney starter (3/4 full) until they’re white hot, empty onto one side of the grate
Lid goes on, gets up to around 200, then us basically cold 45 minutes later, temperature drops off quickly
Im left with fairly large lumps that have just stopped producing heat (bad picture attached)
The top vents fully open and bottom ones too (all the way to the right)
The lumpwood is alderline.. but two years old?
My guess would be it’s wet inside so it catches but won’t stay burning
Get some new fuel and see how you go. If that works you should be able to incorporate some of the old stuff with the new
