You're just jealous because mine is longer than yours
-
• #28553
True, mine goes for a lot longer though.
-
• #28554
I think you'll find, mine goes even longer

You're putting a battery powered bike against me? I'll take that bet.
-
• #28556
Yeah but the yellow motorcycle says „range" on it.

Who's running a framebag on their modern, slack mtb?
I'd quite like a small bag up at the front of the front triangle that I can just fit a tube and some shit in but the space is quite tight, it's an accute angle so I dunno how a 'normal' framebag will fit.
Edit: Looking at a litre, litre and a half kind of size.
This sort of thing,

I sometimes use a Blackburn bag a bit like that alpkit one, does fine

I have a week booked this summer in Morzine with the family, so any bike hire recommendations for me, and for my kids, 9 & 6 & what trails are good for the kids, thinking long flow green/blues. Any I should aim for? Thanks

If anyone has a 450lbs Rockshox spring for 65mm stroke they no longer need, could you let me know? Also have a brand new 550lbs one I could swap

Summer, is it?! Absolutely filthy in my local today. However, I am totally sold on eebing. In an hour I managed to do the same distance and climbing as I'd normally pedal in two hours, used maybe a quarter of the battery. It's opened up bits of trail that are push ups for unassisted bikes, I actually giggled while pedalling up stuff. Even took kiddo out for a spin earlier, because the top tube is so massive it's basically a kid's seat

Long shot, don't suppose anyone has a 475lbs EXT C65 coil spring they're looking to get rid of?
I might do, I have a load of ext springs that I've been telling myself I'll keep for when I get back to pre pandemic race weight. I'll check the garage tonight.

I wrote up a blog post about my 2 wins and 2 flops at the pan celtic gravel rally this weekend. Long story short: 90km in surrey isn't as easy as 90km in North Cymru, make sure your chain tool isn't bent, eat lots of food, get a hardtail with a dropper post.

Good. Despair away while others are enjoying themselves.

Are you DIYing? Shocks is something I wouldn't touch myself at the moment, forks are fairly simple though

• #28572
Is a shock not just half a fork?
-
• #28573
Photos are from the place servicing the shock/fork/dropper - trying to do that at home with a cat that knocks absolutely fucking everything off flat surfaces onto the floor is not something I’m keen to try

Which level of service did you perform? Was it the full bhuna 500hr(or whatever the longest interval is) one?
I’m guessing in true dammit style you got all the proper vice clamps etc for the job?
Did it feel straight forward enough?
My AXS reverb was warrantied because of some sag that the vent valve procedure wouldn’t eliminate.
The warranty replacement they sent then developed sag within the first few rides, but it was only about 5mm of sag which I’m sram tech centre said is actually with spec and wouldn’t be warrantied again.
I haven’t even bothered to try the vent valve procedure on my current post with 5mm sag since I’ve just lived with it for the past couple years. After you competed the service, was it rock solid with no sag at all?
I’d like to just go ahead and get all the tools to give it a full service myself but I think I’d have nervous breakdown if the 5mm sag remained after the service. -

Ffs sorry I only just seen this reply after typing all that out.
Is your reverb 100% sag free after the service??
and I thought suspension tuning talk was boring.
This thread is making me think triathletes get a bad rap for all their chat.
