Rest in Peace Maj. I've loved reading your thread.

On a more sombre note, a clubmate has had this Colnago stolen. If anyone spots it - or maybe even a suspicious looking Record 11 speed groupset - for sale, could you message me?

Yep it’s good! Much of it is away from the road and it’s a great to not have to go north to get between Firle and Alfriston on the road bike.

    Hi everyone

I’m rejigging the stable and thinking about selling my Look AL 265. I’ll probably break it up and sell frameset / wheels / groupset separately.

But before I do that, any local interest for the complete bike? It’s 56cm, full Chorus 11 speed, and Prime 35mm carbon wheelset.

Wheels have done probably 200km max, almost new.

Was thinking £600, but shout if you think that’s off.

Test rides and viewing obvs welcome.

Will post a decent photo later, but it has appeared in bike tag a few times!

Yeah I must admit I have chosen to avoid it one or two times recently becuase I keep my bike in the office, and it gets covered in sheep shit from this short section if condtions are a bit soggy. The sheep seem to love to congregate on it too.

I use it quite a bit on my commute, there was a lot of rain and a very high tide earlier in the year that decimated sections of it. Add in a thick layer of sheep poo and it's got like that. I love it but defintely MTB/gravel only now as you say. Such a shame they haven't been able to connect all the way to Newhaven, otherwise it would be perfect for the kids to get up to Lewes.

There's a bridleway you can take by Deans farm to connect with Piddinghoe but it's pretty steep and rutted.

Firle - Eastbourne A27 path is lovely!
