I've been using it for the last 10 years. The brightness legality thing is bullshit - it's mostly about the light angle anyway and fucking 95% of cars are brighter than anything a dynamo can put out so fuck them.

For comparison, halogen carlights are about 55W, a SP-8 is 3W.

Yeah and I've been flashed by a truck with a gigwatt of lights on it because my light had slipped during the Nat 24hr one year. I'm sure my Six Pack really upset the prick in the cab while I couldn't see anything for 30s with a layer of lycra for protection.
