Problem is I don't know how any of them compare with an E3 Triple or klite MTB, which are the only two dynamo lights I've used. Max light on descents is where you want it though, obviously and that's how the klite works - quite low crawling uphill and then bright when you're doing over 20kph or whatever.

The M99 DY Pro has a bit lower light output at slower speeds than other lights but then gets a lot brighter, so it's probably best at descents.
