Front ring around the lens is left-hand threaded, is usually pretty tightly screwed on, then after that the rear around the button comes off (normal thread, I think) and reveals some small torx screws to remove. Then the innards slide out forwards, taking care to feed the wires through and not to twist things too much, or those side LEDs are at risk.
Had I not damaged the LEDs I would have tried to seal the dead rubber gaskets with something, but as it was starting to become a bit of a botch job I bought a new one before winter came.
