Thanks both. It was the side beam for descending I really wondered about. Sounds like a grea city light but perhaps not the best for big mountains.

Interesting thanks. I could email them.

It's for a friend not me, I'm out of the loop on road lights.

I remember my supernova being ok, but not that wide beam, so struggled on fast descents. My klite MTB one is great for that.
