I consider a down jacket one of those things you hopefully only have to buy once or twice so I wouldn’t fret about Snow Peaks prices, honestly they’re on the low end of what I would pay and I can’t afford golf.

Yah. Down is an investment. Lasts forever if you treat it right, unlike a waterproof shell which has a finite life span.

weird post. I've a couple snow peak jackets but I wouldnt say they were a uniqlo down (which I also have) replacement. Didnt think that was a controversial view.

I don’t see the point of buying a cheap down or otherwise insulated jacket, didn’t intend to throw a wrench in the works.

Where does nice plain t shirts that aren't horrible and oversized? I've just been to Uniqlo and Zara and everything was absolutely enormous, even in the smallest size available. I'm specifically looking for something in a dark olive green if possible.
