Still my favourite WAS season in living memory….
@cornelius_blackfoot Solak and Robert Mayes have both been high on Maye throughout the process! Like I say, the signal to noise ratio is so off when really they are just 2A and 2B as prospects, and all the takes are exhausted. I’ve watched some film, I just let it wash over me at this point. I think I prefer Maye but somewhat expecting us to take Daniels. I don’t weigh Mayes regression too heavily against him, nor do I put as much stock as some seem to in a 5th year heisman campaign on an all-star team for Daniels. That said I loved watching Kliff’s offence on the rare occasion that it was humming along with Kyler Murray and JD is appealing in that he has the tools to do so much in a similar system - but Maye could have the ceiling long term. It’s all just part of the circus though isn’t it. Ask me again in week 6.
It’s interesting watching the vegas lines and trying to work out what is causing movement.

Personally, I’m not a fan of kliff, too many losing seasons both college and pro’s with an offensive genius who doesn’t seem to adapt to the defenses he’s seeing or make the most of the offensive talent at hand. Think he’s overrated and won’t last more than a season or two in Washington, and whoever his qb is, I don’t think they are going to get the support:coaching they’ll need to improve and survive in the league..
