  • Argentina...the truth is l never left you

  • "At one point in the footage, a man appears to hit a police horse with an umbrella."

    Lol

  • I'd love to see them try that at an away game on a cold winter night in Stoke... Oh, wait

  • This seems odd to me, but seems to chant of recent times.

  • ...and this is why it's not a bank holiday.

  • Yes fantastic, reminds me of a local event at a the Portsmouth / Southampton football derby when a UKIP candidate punched a police horse lol

  • I assume there are no scaffolders available based on that photo.

Some of those kids should be in school. Fine the parents.

  • Is that Declan Rice in the middle?

  • no scaffolders available

    😂😂😂👌

  • Love that the guy trusts his fellow English lovers so much that he's got his bag on the front 😂

  • You just know there’s only a dozen or so teeth shared between everyone in that picture :)

  • What a weird and shameful day to be English - Rwanda bill, loadsa far right geezers up Laandan celebrating being far right geezers and now some war gaming nonsense. Crikey!

Edit: weirder and more shameful than usual.

  • At least, notionally, the Falklands are British and the people want(ed?) to be British.

The best part of the announcement is this though:

And to encourage private sector investment into defence production … I can also announce today that we’re going to put beyond doubt that defence investment does count towards environmental, social and governance assessments.

I'd love to see the ESG report that justifies the creation of 10M artillery runds.

  • Grants scheme for homeowners to help fund building a national network of Anderson Shelters in the next budget?

  • defence investment does count towards environmental, social and governance assessments.

    counts negatively, right?
    .... right?!
    ffs

  • Looking at all the happy go lucky scamps down in Whitehall today, it got me thinking:
How hard would it be to reclaim the St George flag from the far right?

How would they react if lgbtqi+ groups started flying it at pride, or if drill rappers, roadmen and hippies starting wearing flags all the time?

Would they think they are winning the good fight or give up on it as they couldn’t associate themselves with such undesirables?

I posed this question on a WhatsApp group and was informed that left wing groups in Israel have been doing something similar over the last few years, co-opting formerly nationalistic symbols.

  • How would they react if lgbtqi+ groups started flying it at pride, or if drill rappers, roadmen and hippies starting wearing flags all the time?

Look how unhappy many of them were when Stormzy had the union flag vest...

  • I’m very pleased that this year is the second in a row that I’ve been able to get the boy out of doing the St George’s day parade with Beavers. Admittedly, that did involve killing off his grandfather this weekend, but I will not see my lad marching under an England flag.

Next year may be tricky. We’re running out of aged relatives.

  • claim he has 3 grandads, that'll have the gammons in meltdown

  • Grants scheme for homeowners to help fund building a national network of Anderson Shelters in the next budget?

Is that where he's kept when he's not embarrassing himself in public?
