Sad times. But the right decision.
I went with heart over head on a couple of older cars and really ended up in money pits that I could never get right.

I am a little crestfallen. I just really need to get rid of my XV before the registration comes around, the buyer will have the cash this week.
I spotted this on the way home from walking the dog, I'm gonna have a look at it tomorrow. Totally different beast but will be just as much fun but in a very different way.

My mechanic mate has looked at the pics and told me to leave it. Too much saltwater corrosion on the underside and engine bay, muffler is cactus, fucking spoilsport. ðŸ˜
