In the finest tradition of Google it looks like they are getting rid of the Google VPN.

I find their announcement really confusing. So, they are discontinuing VPN, but if you have a Pixel 7 or 8, you can still use it?

Google are discontinuing their standalone VPN product, but Android 7 and onward has a native VPN built into its OS, accessible via Settings.

That’s how I read that anyway.
