Xavi wearing a fucking Stone Island jumper in the Barca dugout tonight.

Not quite, but nearly.
We looked absolutely shattered tonight.
Kieffer Moore is playing at about 60% fitness, our only other fit striker is also managing a long-term injury, and we look overstretched.
Still- promotion to the PL is in our hands with four games left - I really cannot fathom how that can be the case.

Fair enough I guess. It's been a miserable season.
They looked really good against us at PR and we beat them quite cruelly. I think that was probably their last chance at saving their season because it must have really taken it out of them.

GET THE BADGE IN!!!

No one won tonight. Those lonely Rotherham fans were treated to shit football from their relegated team and we barely got past playing walking football.
Snoozefest all around.

I would also really like it if West Brom could let Norwich overtake them and finish 5th so we don't have to play them in the playoffs.
Let Southampton beat them over two legs instead.

On a scale of 1-insufferable, how bad would losing out on promotion to your local rivals be?

I'm sure Klopp will look back and treasure his Carabao Cup winners medal when he's done.

Nice to see the 'big' clubs conspiring to keep Champions League to a top 4 closed shop.
(and West Ham, though that was obviously expected)

City and Arsenal did their bit, and suspect will do next week. I assume united and Chelsea no longer count as big, which is fair enough.

Moving article.
Reflection:
I was 12yo, watching in Ruddington, a suburb of Nottingham, rooting for Liverpool as a Derby fan against extended family who were Forest fans.
Seeing it all happen live on telly wasnt much fun tbh. Nowhere near as traumatic as being present though for sure, the screen offered a sense of separation from the reality as it did similarly during the Bradford Stadium disaster coverage, when Challenger blew up, and as 9/11 unfolded.
No-one thought to switch it off though and maybe that wouldn't have been respectful in a way, I dont know.
I've never understood how anyone supporting any club can "tradegy chant" about what happened that day.

Agreed very moving article and nice to see fans showing solidarity with each other.
Also would be nice if 'fans' stopped the poverty chanting.
-
• #168324
Also hate the poverty and tragedy chanting.
Also a pretty large number of our fans were singing anti-Welsh chants when we went to Cardiff - while two of our best players, Broadhead and Burns, are trying to win them the game.
Some fans are still fucking idiots.

People. Idiots.
Blood sausage.
That definitely helped us out. We’ll go 5 clear with better GD if we win tomorrow night.
