• So, maybe I could adjust it to work?

"I've been using the 46/30T GRX crankset with my Di2 Ultegra 6800 derailleurs.

Briefly, it works, but I had to adjust the H-limit screw to its most extreme outboard position. There was less than 1mm to spare. I have a band-clamp on a straight-gage steel seat tube, so I have the luxury of positioning the derailleur wherever I want it. It was cutting it quite close, so what I recommend is that you first check to make sure that you have about 4mm of H-limit wiggle-room before you try this. (If not, the GRX front derailleur should solve your problem)."

  • A newer gen might work, I use an R7000 FD with my GRX 2x setup, not perfect but works 99% of times. I would imagine a Di2 R8000/9000 would work as well?

  • About to try similar on this Arkose, what's the issue for the 1%...reduced shift ease/response at the x-chaining extremes?

  • Maybe, but it's a new FD either way, just maybe a cheaper used solution.

These cranks were originally bound for my Tripster and I THINK that has a newer Ultregra FD but presumably would've had the same problem, but in Poland, so it's kinda nice I found it here where I assume it'll be cheaper to buy a new one.
