Well that is because it is an external shifter disc brake model. Rimbrake + internal shifter I have seen for as low 200-250 eurobucks

No papers but bought from the original owner and Rohloff shows it was not previously registered. Got to get some little bits like the flange support rings, disc and a different mounting plate. RE spokes I have to see if they have short enough ones available.
Hub will be going into a 20" wheel. Eventually will be for my cargo bike but may stick it into another bike first as to not take the cargo down while it works. cargo bike currently has front drive and a nexus. Want to update to middrive and rohloff. I have a motor as well (bafang m200) but still need to get a newer batter, screen and can programming dongle to complete all that. Also need to get some motor mounting plates cut for the frame but im still thinking about if its worth the effort vs just leave the front drive or going with something like a bbso1 so as to not have to deal with Canbus things (I also have a spare) but would also require custom motor mount.

Good to hear it‘s legit :) sounds like a nice project. You could always get some rohloff spokes cut to length, not many shops have the tool though. I know of a shop here in Berlin, they could probably send it to austria if you don‘t find anything local.

2 of the local shops i use can do it. Just want to see if there are other extra chonky options. Cargo bike basically lives a zero maintenance zero downtime life. May try using the wheel for a few tours in the summer first on another bike.

More silly projects. Bought this frame on ebay, it seems to be a prototype/show bike from a small german maker ( they make Ti bikes, this one is alu but powdercoated to look Ti lol) Want as a new commuter, light touring bike
Plans are:
-Rohloff
-Dynamo
-Chunky offroad tires
-Bafang conversion
-Dropper post
-other silly-ness

Frame arrived so i had to throw some stuff on real quick.
-swapped to Rohloff dropouts from Alfine ones (internal routing to the bb will also work YAY!)
-Dropper post looks like it will be long enough to use
-omnium mini fork, hoping this one works but if not i have a longer one
-Test fit bafang m200, as internet suggests should be adaptable but looks like it will be much easier to use the hack to addapt bbso1.

Not convinced that this fork will work, headtube may be too steep for the type of riding I want to do, may need to go with a longer fork

Started cleaning this thing up so i can get the electrical portion working, need to plug in a spare battery to see if the display works. Needs some basic maintenance then can add benches, belts, hopefully a rain tent, then decorations. Thinking about a psychedelic theme with some neon lights.

Thanks, going to try to kludge a middrive swap to fit

Update on the rabbit project, did a lil tinkering. Bars stem and the dropper i think will all be moving on to another project also did a little mocking up for motor options. Original plan was a bagang m200 but mounts just where not that close. Could get 1 hole max. Motor mounts are only 2mm too wide to fit on the frame braket second idea was to use a bbs01 as this has been done and just needs a bb shell, square tubes and some welding.

However i also have a brand new bafang m360 in my spares and threw it in there to have a look and it kind of looks like i can get 2 mounting holes with just some file work and a little cutting. So now im a bit conflicted on which way to go.

Yeah keep having mixed feelings about swapping to a tall quil and risers. Would not be as cool but would allow to handle bigger loads.

Sweet deal if it‘s legit. Did it come with the original papers and/or did you check if it‘s registered with Rohloff? You probably know this but make sure to use Rohloff spokes with the wider neck length. What‘s the plan for it? It really is a beautiful piece of mechanical egineering. One day, I might put one on my ogre.
