Those cranks remain one of the prettiest around..
The build is an acquired taste though, it's yours yeah?
The m800 is gonna be mental. You got them from this parish from Berlin or a kleinanzeigen volltreffer? -
• #803
Agreed on the cranks, even if I am usually the all black guy
The build is how I bought it this week, of course I will not leave it like this. Will swap the wheels, the red bar tape and the tires. Then see how it goes
Edit: only issue is that I will in no case cut the steerer on this NOS frame set
Thanks on the M, what do you mean re Berlin? Bikeor wheels?

• #804
What's the bike you ride the most of your collection?
-
• #805
Well
The only one built up is the SL6 so thats my work horse (and occasionally the M800 when I hit the pump track with my son)
The USA caad still needs cables
The viper red/spinergy/coda magic sits in boxes
And the NOS caad 7 on the previous page will just be looked atI.e. currently none 😅

Wheels! I had the pleasure of visiting a certain mental pankow lockup where from a confidential source I gathered you had been spotted too?
-
• #807
And re cranks:
I even went to the faff of ghetto mimicking them with a modern battered and cheap si deanodised. I am just a poor boy from a poor family. -
• #808
Cranks look smooth af tbh
I am also poor so I can relate
Re wheels: got them off of Kleinanzeigen. In berlin i picked up a single wheel a few years back, but only for spares
Wheels have been passed on already
There will be a few nice updates shortly

...it's a flattering picture. Like the velvety texture too!
Re wheels: that de-escalated quickly!

It was a nice re-sell case lets say. So i just took the chance to take some pics

Sublime. Where to go from here? (Suggestion - Cipollini track rep please).

• #814
Thanks both!
Next is get the USA/Enve going which is just cables and bartape away from being finished
Summer will be a second try on a viper red caad4/spinergy build
So the queue for 2024 is full id say 😅

Sooo…..
Was about time that I ditch the specialized and go fully cannondale.
Hence, Last week I sold the SL6 and dialled in the replacement. Will take/post some nicer pics in the next days
but after 200km I can already say the new whip feels faster and more comfortable than the SL6.
Cannot back this up by science ofc, its just my feeling

I might be wrong. I thought the very first ones had a chunkier fork that got swapped to the supersix one but I can't find a picture now so I may have made it up
-
• #821
Think that was just on the CAAD12 disc framesets, not the rim. I had the 12 rim framset when it first came out and was with the skinny fork
-
• #822
The Tiagra rim brake model had the chonky alloy steerer fork, all the others had the slimmer full carbon AFAIK.

Couple night shots with my endurance setup
Went 350k last saturday with this machine and it (not me lol) ran great

that's hot af.
How do you find braking with these rims? I'm split between swapping my supersix for something with disc brakes or getting a pair of carbon rim brake wheelsets.
Got a pair of hyperons for sale (clincher, great condition)
850€
