that is unbelievably shit. They've been bought by KwikFit since then, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's all new IT/Comms infrastructure by now/v soon

Absolutely seething at what Kettle Chips have done to our national flag. Once I've composed myself I'll be emailing Mr Farage immediately.

Nothing says ‘true patriot’ like putting your national flag upside down.

Not sure of the fail here.
I enjoyed the rarely seen "endo-headbutt".

Having my car keys in my back pocket while sitting and bending over to get the kids ready. Some how the unlock button got held down.
Holding down unlock opens the windows.

I've done this, came back to the car with the boot open. Been like that for a few hours. Nothing stolen

We got married in Italy and I drove down with all the stuff (dress, suit, cake, decorations etc etc).
Stayed over night in Lucerne on the way down and parked the car outside the hotel.
Left both driver and passenger windows down all night. Everything bar overnight stuff was in the boot. Nothing nicked but I nearly died walking up to it and seeing the window wide open.

When I was a kid I went to a wedding in France with my folks. Our car had one of those popup sunroofs.
It was a summer and baking hot, so to be helpful I opened it when we got out.Later there was a torrential summer rain storm.
The two front seats were soaked. Both my parents had a huge fight about it blaming the other.
I kept quiet and only owned up in my 20s when the story was being recounted.

A slight tangent but the wife and I (will self report to Golf club) went to Koln to run the marathon. We had one wheely suitcase between us to save on flight costs, with all our marathon kit and shoes, money and two passports in it. Promptly left it on the tram as soon as we arrived.
Waited at the station for the tram to go to the end of the line and come back. The bag hadn't moved from where we left it. Much relief

Matthew Paul Le Tissier is a former professional footballer...ok makes sense now.

He definitely went for one too many headers. Completely lost his marbles.

I don't think he ever headed a ball in his career, did he? The graft was everyone else's responsibility.
-
• #27445
You're probably right. I only really remember the tail end of his career.
Maybe he's been drinking drain cleaner since he retired instead.

I saw him play a fair bit, as Southampton was one of the closest grounds to where I grew up. He was outrageously talented, but he wasn't interested in tracking back.

One year when they played up at Cov he was injured so went into the Sky Blue Tavern with the away fans. I was working behind the bar. They all adored him and sang something like:
he gets the ball and takes the piss...

No doubt a gifted player. Such a shame he’s gone off on the tangent he’s on right now. It’s definitely tainted.l my view of him.
