Absolute horror crash. That concrete gully making it way worse. How Remco didn't hit one of those trees is beyond me, having seen that replay from the front on.

I think it was a UAE rider who bunnyhopped the concrete culvert then managed to keep it upright whilst dodging the trees.

I've seen a front angle of Remco rolling through the trees, nuts. Would be nice if they'd stop showing crash footage and the aftermath. I don't need to see Jonas loaded into an ambulance.

Amazing no one hit one of the boulders just after the culvert.

Lennard Kämna hit by a left turning car on a training ride, stable, in intensive care. Ffs. Heal up.

Didn't see that and now have no need/desire to watch any of the replays either thanks to the coverage.

UAE guy was Jay Vine, team have confirmed he is conscious and talking

A few riders appear to of had sudden steering problems .

A local rider said on twitter that there are tree roots rippling the tarmac on that road

Jonas has a broken collar bone and several broken ribs

No fractures for Tesfazion

Vine has several spinal fractures.

Had a sick feeling when I saw there was no on-demand coverage on Eurosport so glad everyone is alive.

Soudal Quick Step have confirmed that Evenepoel fractured his collarbone too.

I had a sick feeling watching the race live, the crash scene had so many hazards - a concrete culvert, large rocks, trees, a ditch - that it could easily have seen one of the riders lose their life.

I think Evenepoel has done his shoulder blade too.

Steff Cras for Total Energies has a collapsed lung, multiple rib fractures, fractured vertebrae and multiple contusions and abrasions. Fuuuuuck.

I think he was one of the riders who hit the rocks. He'll be out for some time, I'd imagine. I hope he makes a full recovery.

Horrific today. One of the times I hope there is support for the riders not directly involved but witnessing it.
