The tail end of storm Kathleen, down on the north Cornish coast, has been brisk, to say the least.

The wind blew out one of my shed windows this afternoon.

Tbf I hadn't got round to repairing that pair of windows so they were a bit ropey. But still.

Luckily however, the ground was so sodden that the whole pane just sunk right into the grass, unbroken in one massive peice, and stood there like something from a scene in an action movie where a knife is thrown into the ground in front of the hero's feet to test there metal.

Hoping the other one doesn't pop out tonight and the shed contents stay inside.

Something tells me that this weekend wasn't the ideal time to plant a new tree. Oh well. If it lives, it lives.

Sad that no one is going to care until food prices in the supermarkets are too high, then people are going to turn around and bitch about why the govt never did anything. From the comfort of their BMWs.
