Absolutely. I used to play with a guy who had no left foot and him striking at goal from the left side with the outside of his right boot did my head him. Love the bloke to bits though.

I think that’s why Bellingham is a joy to watch, slightly more than Foden, as his weaker foot can still do a fair bit!

Pickford made a bad error but in competitive games for England he’s been pretty much faultless. I like broadly Dunk but that was a poor mistake yesterday. I’d still take Branthwaite over him. He’s a cracking player.

Fact on guardian football weekly today that, for England, Pickford has never made an error that has directly resulted in a goal until last night. He is a SMB, but that is a good record.

RIP Larry Lloyd, two European Cups, a league title and two League Cups with us, more with Liverpool. Him and Kenny Burns were one of most fearsome centre-back partnerships there has been.

Horrible, stressful second half at Ewood Park. I have no idea how we held out and I really can't get my head around the fact that we're still in the conversation about promotion with 7 games left.

When we were singing "We're on our way..." half the fans are still singing "to the Championship" before correcting themselves.
