I think they do? Because IIRC that’s the cat ours was in…

I wish I could garden. I think it’s my new love I don’t do, after bikes of course.
-
• #5556
Hidden built in cat flap was one of my stipulations on ours.

Gardening is easy, really. Most plants want to grow, you have to actively intervene to prevent them from doing that.
-
• #5558
I don’t understand anything.
I think I want to remove my lawn and just have gravel and lots of plants. -
• #5559
Sounds like a good idea. Lawns are an abomination.
I love that gravel with plants look, and it's so much easier to maintain.

pain in the arse removing a full lawn tho. I regret putting ours in and so am now taking some out piece by piece
half tempted to just sell up and buy this place - potentially lots of grass cutting tho…

There is this grit stuff* they use for paths in national trust type places that I think would be up your street. It'll give you a less gravelly look than gravel if you're doing a lot of it.
Personally though I think grass is a solid option if you have kids. I think it was Churchill who said that grass is the worst form of garden covering except for all those other forms that have been tried from time to time.
*self binding gravel - after a bit of googling it's worth knowing that it's not that permiable so should be viewed as more like laying a patio than gravel

Unless you've kids then laws are good.
-
• #5563
I'd get a goat or two, you need every penny you can to pay the heating bills.

Unless you've kids then laws are good
Fuck yeah, discipline all the way
-
• #5565
yeah first order of business would be upgrading the insulation envelope. beyond that, a good clean, some TLC and full refurbishment of the garden room… and you’re good to go
-
• #5566
What's wrong with the garden room?
Normally when people post this places they're in ridiculous locations. But this actually looks really well connected.
Only 3 miles from Prestwick International too. Which is handy.

Yah they're nice. I like the Dulwich House too
-
• #5572
Yes! That’s the exact stuff I was after and had no idea what’s it’s called. Similar to what you see ont continent in public spaces and gardens.

Strong orthodontist waiting room vibes.
