Got back on the skateboard a couple of weeks ago, as jnr is making so much progress.
Swapped out the original bushings on my trucks for something firmer, and skated to the local supermarket, about 15mins away.
Skated there and back with no major issues.
Got home and a couple of hours later realised I’d re aggravated my sciatica. Spent the weekend sitting/lying on a hot water bottle to loosen all the guarding going on in my hips, buttocks and stomach.
Big wake up call to try and address my flexibility and core strength, now before I get too old.
Have second appointment with an acupuncturist to help with the sciatica, and have various exercises ans stretches to help improve the flexibility.
Might be a while before I get back on the board again..
