Random one, when did penalties start counting as regular goals in the charts (like top scorerer etc).

Thought they always put them in brackets after. E.g 10 (2) for 10 open play goals and two penalties?

A goal is a goal, no? Doesn’t matter how it’s scored for the top scorer charts afaik.

(Unless of course it’s scored against Liverpool, as then the legitimacy of it is dubious).

Or it's scored by Liverpool, so it means more. I think that equates to approx 1.15 regular goals.
